Squad Help needed

I started playing a little less than a month ago on my own, without having a look at guides. I started good but there was a week where I almost didn't play. Now I am at level 44 with 16 characters unlocked, but when I see the arena players I see they are more powerful than me and I can't climb up. I found this site and I discovered all this strategy and realized people where taking the game much more seriously than I thought. So my question is which characters should I go with to make a good team? I currently have
