Lets do some number crunching on the value of the gears in terms of gems and shards, starting with cantina:

3=252. 84 shard currency

84 shard currency= 1 raid gear
1 shard= 15 shard currency

5.6 shards for every raid gear
280 shards = 50 raid gears = 1 full craft

100 gems buys you 120c + 120c naturally, lets say you get 10 shards in Cantina from this 240c for 100 gems

To get 280 shards you'd spend 100 gems 18 times, 1,800 gems from cantina, 18 days, or 2 weeks and 4 days.

So 18 days worth of refreshing at a 1,800 cost in Cantina (of which all shards are converted assuming a 42%! Droprate on shards- 10 per 240 spent on a 10 energy node), for 50 raid gears (not a full piece- that would take slightly longer). If you dont spend any gems you get 50 raid gears every 36 days (5weeks).

This is purely from Cantina however, which is directly correlated to spending gems.

Lets do the same for Arena and gw.

280 shards = 50 raid gears, thats constant conversion rate.

Lets say you get 1k currency every day from Arena, you can buy 12.5 (:P) shards a day with this 1k, so thats 280/12.5= 22.4 days, so lucky you getting #1 will earn you a full piece after 23 days.

You also get 1.2k every day from Gw, 15 shards a day, 280/15=18.67, so after 19 days you get a full piece.

What if you dedicate everything? 12.5(arena)+15(gw)+10(cantina)? Thats 37.5 shards a day. So if you do full you get a full piece every 7.46 days- once a week!

I see where you were trying to go with this, but your results are mega convoluted by combining text and formulas.

If you improve the layout, you'll make it a lot easier on the eyes - while making it easier to follow your logic - and probably get more responses.

Some of the whales claim to have gotten over a dozen full gears on the first day. By the time it's over some will have all the top toons in their rosters at max gear and then some.

All this nonsense about bottlenecking to 'slow progress' is ****. It's all about the Benjamins.

Thats the worst part. I get a reoccuring feeling that they activate "events" (or w/e youd call them) like this when they need a quick buck from us.
