Anyone else not able to sign in to Pokemon go?

I keep getting the message "unable to authenticate". I looked it up and others have reported the same but no one has a fix. Assuming I'm not the only one moving on from this mess of a game, has anyone found a fix for this?

I think they are adding mods to pokemon. Servers down for the update.
