Does everyone have to face this same team in gw?

So is gw just for whales now? My last node has way over 600k health. Aayla one shots everyone with her counters. Same with 5s. I have thrown all 22 of my 7* g8+ lvl 80 toons at this last node and all five still have protection.
This must be a bug/issue/glitch because how on the first day of mods are you supposed to get past this?
I was trying to give mods a chance but this right here has ruined it.
Let me know whether or not this is the way it's supposed to be so I know whether or not I'm quitting. Please reply @CG_Dan

I think it's there so people can remind us that it's supposed to be challenging and we aren't supposed to get all the way to the end every day.

I haven't completed it even once since they updated it.

Lmao. There's the answer as to whether or not mods apply to GW. How did something like this even get out of initial testing? I'm not trying to be a ****. There are untold balancing issues throughout the game mods present.
