Working as Intended?

Despite what I personally believe about mods being OP or this update being a huge screwup, I can't honestly believe this is working as intended. Why would EA/CG make an update that literally makes their raid obsolete? Where 1 player can now solo a Heroic T7 raid intended for 50 players if they are willing to dump enough cash into this game. Why would they make their previous big raid patch just a big joke with this patch?

This can't be what they intended when they released this update.

I guess it's possible but it would have to be exponentially harder like possibly 40 to 50 times as hard as T7 to account with a guild full of people that could possibly solo T7.
