The patch lands two days ago. The shortcut stuff and what not were awesome. Then we see the mods. Oh wow! These are pretty cool! Then we see the 5* mods. Um... this basically renders gear useless, throwing away months of work, and even the hardest raid is now soloable making a fairly new part of the game meh. So of course whales drop a ton of cash as do a lot of smaller payers to try and get those sweet 5* mods as soon as possible.
Then yesterday they announce, "Oh, our bad. We hear you. Our testing showed people were happy but you're really important to us so we'll be making some changes. BTW, one of the changes will be mods will no longer be 100% drop. We figured pre-crafting worked so well with G9+, that we'd try it again!" So of course players started dropping even more money to get more mods before they slowed the flow.
Today the patch is released. What's this? T6 & T7 mods are now raid rewards? Oh so all that money we spent by only being given partial information is now completely worthless as the 5* mods will be about as effective compared to 7* mods as G7 gear is to G11? Well thanks!
Wow! Just wow! Was this entire project, start to finish, handled by your interns?
They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose, Nor spoke, nor moved their eyes; It had been strange, even in a dream, To have seen those dead men rise.

Deceitful scroundrel cashgrabber that is infatuated with money and has a sadistic appetite for seeing their loyal players in frustration.
Basic Ability: Money, money, money
EA Executive presents a player with quick ways to get ahead of the game, Executive gains +20 cash
Special: Feedback ignored!
Executive gains 100% evasion for the duration of the encounter and completely blows off the playerbase.
Unique: Twisted Mind Games: EA Executive deceives the playerbase and inflicts all negative status effects on all players at the start of every encounter. If any effects are resisted, EA Executive either implements numerous bugs or stacks mods up until the player has finally had enough and uninstalls the game.
This time is even worst. At least you can progress from G7 to G11. We'll have to shove these 5* mods up our ****!
Thanks devs, it was fun while it lasted...
This is funny well thought of
This is awesome!

Bravo!
Oh, we are also introducing this mandatory progression system called "mods" that are so strong they make break every other progression system obsolete. We are gating mods behind a new, more exciting credit fortress. Then 2 days later, we are tripling the energy costs to get a mod drop and making them cost more than twice the credits.
To offset this slight increase in credit consuption, and because we are pretty sensible chaps who think things through, we are giving you +60k credits on your daily GW, which hasnt scaled since level 60, despite all the upgrade costs scaling exponentially. You should not have a problem finishing GW, since it's pretty fair and all, you just need to fight 5 rancors in the final node, who will each one shot one of your characters, while losing 5% their health for each hit they take."
"We are also aware of how invested you were in farming the elusive raid gear these past few months. We admit we made a tiny mistake with pre-crafting, so we decided to give every player the chance to get raid gear for the reasonable price of 1400 gems. But our internal testing showed nubian scanners were performing too well compared to the other raid pieces. We thought about increasing their cost to 2200 gems, but that solution was frowned upon, so instead we decided to stealth nerf their potency stat from 40% to 10%".
Hahaha
It's like they are trying to put out last update's fire by dousing it with gasoline today.
Golden!
