Future characters dependent on future films?

Every day there is a constant stream of character requests on the forum which ask about fan favourites (jedi luke, general hux, young obi etc etc) coming to the game.

Is it possible that we havn't seen these characters yet because the new films havnt fully revealed the true depth of them? Most of us want Jedi Luke, but i bet they are waiting to see what badass force stuff he can do in the next film before bringing him out! Better yet, what if the films made Luke into a sith- wouldn't he be more awesome to have on your team?

Also, we havnt seen anything about young obi wan coming to the game, maybe they are holding that one back until his spin off film(or films) comes out.

In this sense, it could also explain why kylo ren is such a piece of poo in this game- he is a developing sith(or whatever) in the film, meaning he cud get better and better as the films come out and shoe us what he can actually do, other than having a little hissy fit when things go wrong.

What do you guys think?

Or it could be they are released when the game is in dire need of repair with thousands quitting. For example, mod fiasco. They think it will bring people back and hide their mistakes. Very wrong, EA/CG you are.
