Question about arena mechanics

I am wondering how the game decides the time when arena prizes land. I assume it isn't the same time for everyone on my server, since sometimes I notice my rank drop like an hour after the prizes. I get my prizes at 6:00 pm my local time, but my son also plays and his prizes don't drop until around 8:00 pm.

I was also wondering if there is any way to change the prize time. A couple hours later would fit my life schedule a bit better. Also does the refresh get you 5 more attacks or just one?

I think it's set to 6pm local time for every user.

Unclear on what happens if you travel often...

Can't be because my sons prizes are a couple hours behind mine.

I thought I read somewhere it's 6pm based on the time zone you were in when you created your account. So if you created yours in a Pacific Time Zone and your son created his in a Central Time Zone, that could explain it.

As far as the refresh, yes, it does give you 5 additional matches.

Hmm odd.... Both accounts were created in central time zone.
