Leader ability

Got some questions about the leader ability
I have curently phasma as my leader. In my team is also sid. I wonder if his leader ability (bonus crit) is completly deactivated or is it thema passiv ability like his healing after someone died.so eventough phasma is my leader he still has his empowered crit chance and damage or the whole ability is deactivated?

Second question: all allys include the leader too?

Only phasma leader ability is active in this setup. A hero needs to be the leader for his leader ability to take effect.

Oh and when you borrow an ally, the leader ability of the ally will take effect as well.

Yes, untill you set them in the leader spot.
