Ability mats reward in Galaxy Wars

I've played in GW and i I've won at least 5 "pink" ability mats and when i went to improve my heroe's abilities i've realised that i have 0. How is it possible? Am I the onlyone with this problem?
Edit: I didn't waste these mats. They just desappeared
