Palpatine on my team?

I was finally able to unlock Palpatine today, and I have to figure out how I should use him. Should I replace someone on my arena team with him? My team is:
Dooku 5* lead
Lumi 7*
QGJ 6*
RG 5*
Rey 6*
Any thoughts?

Phasma 7*
Daka 4*
GS 4*
Does Palpatine fit here?

So you have a 5* Palpatine? For now he might be cool to use, but without knowing when you'd be able to 7* him, it seems like a liability to invest in him as a priority, which you'd have to do if you put him in the arena.

I would certainly put him in as the dark side leader, because you can likely borrow Dooku or Phasma. That way, you still get to use him and gear him as a non-top-priority. At 7* and gear 10, he is awesome. You're going to need to sink the Int gear Challenge gear in to him (don't do the highest tier of it, do the second highest.)

I do have Vader, only at 4 stars but I am 10 shards from 5 stars.
