Military Might Achievement

I beat tier 1 of the event but never got an achievement or the 10 Vader shards for completion. However, I believe my account was started after the first one had already finished, so I never saw the achievement in my list. Is this WAI or will players be able to get retroactive shards for the event?

Thanks for the response, but an achievement was added for me about a week after the event.
