Hey guys. My question is: for example alls characters with 80 shards are characters with 4 stars but i have seen allied for example darth sidious or darth maul with 3 stars. ¿why?

When they are pulled from data packs they can come at 3* or 4* form. Im not sure about from shards. (Havent been fortunate enough yet )

From what I can tell those characters are ai controlled that are there just so you can try out other characters.

Pay attention to the friendship bonus before selecting your "borrowed hero" if its 20 thats from one of ur allies and they will be the normal rank. If its a 10 then its computer. EA does it so u can progress in the game.. but more so to try and get u to spend on the random chance of acquiring them
