Xwing Minatures vs Star Wars Armada

Just discovered the existence of these games.

Anyone play both that can say which one they like better?

I do like that the Xwing's seem to be higher quality painted models made of metal vs Armada's plastic. Price seems steeper for Armada.

How is gameplay though?

I've played armada with my friend who has both games. He prefers armada because star destroyers, hehe. Armada takes some planning due to how the ships move. If you don't think a few turns ahead you could end up in a really bad position.

I believe x wing was a bit simpler, but I never played it. Just heard a comparison.
