I think it would be great if gear requests reset at a fixed time, rather than 24 hours from the previous one. It still will be one request per day, but you can do it every day at the same, convenient time. It won't ruin anything, just a matter of convenience.

they probably don't want you to sorda cheat the system- if it was a set time every day, i.e. request your mk furnace 10 minutes before the reset time, get your 2, then request and get another 2 furnaces 10 minutes later.
