When to launch tank raid

To all the experts out there I have a question regarding the tank raid. My guild TheBothans is a new guild of 9 members most of us at or above level 70 some 6 stars with good mods and gear. Should I launch the tank raid so we can take some pot shots and and start rebuilding our currency? I don't see the point on sitting on maxed out raid currency at 150k when we could be attacking the tank and getting more raid tickets. Any thoughts thanks

dude, you mine as well launch it now if you expect to complete it before you die. it will take you years with that squad.

Might as well get a feel for it. Our Guild is mostly Level 81 and 82, tons of 7* G10 toons. We may finish today, which would make it 9 days.

Dont do it. Its a soul destroying event. Id rather put my hand in a blender than use my fingers to start a tank raid

Wow that was a fast response thanks everyone. Yea it will take forever I just discovered this game about 3 months ago and I am truly addicted.
