Boba Fett revive

When Boba Fett's ability, Mandalorian Resolve, triggers, he is revived, but he maintains the negative status effects he had when he died.
Given the fact the character was KO'd, shouldn't he be revived with no status effects?

Any character revives maintain the same state they were in upon death (this includes turn meter fill value and positive buffs as well).

Makes perfect sense to me since it's one of the reasons that make healing immunity debuff viable.
