Current outage -- Outage resolved

We are aware of the outage issue and are getting the necessary folks to take a look.

UPDATE 1
To answer a few questions / comments:
1. Definitely not planned nor part of any pending update. So far it's looking like a problem with an external service provider, but we're still investigating.
2. There's never a good time for a server outage, and I know it can feel personal based on what's happening in your game when it happens. But this is an unplanned outage so please know there is no intent behind it.
3. Related to that, we cannot customize what we give players when these outages happen. As you've seen in the past, we generally reward the entire player base the same way depending on the duration of the outage.
We will keep you all posted as things progress.

Hey all -
The game should now be recovering and available. We will of course continue to keep an eye on it for any further instabilities.
As mentioned earlier, this was not a planned outage nor something related to an update.
We will be sending out messages to players (most likely tomorrow) to apologize for the inconvenience. You can expect some gifts attached to that message.
While these problems are impossible to fully prevent or predict, and are often beyond our direct control, I want you to know we are truly sorry for the hassle.
Thank you all for your passion for, dedication to, and continued support of the game!
