Ships open up a plethora of new possibilities.

Characters have mods that helps get them stronger. Ships may one day have ship parts.
Right now we have characters tournaments. Maybe one day we will see ship tournaments.
Galactic wars for characters. Possibly we will see Galactic wars based on ships as well.
At the moment we have Rancor and Att raids..maybe a ship raid will eventually be added where we have to battle the Death Star.
All I know is it's an exciting time to be a Swgoh gamer:) and I look forward to see what comes next.

Yeah, but hopefully they will keep most new content on a rotation. It's becoming quite the time investment to stay competitive.
