3* shore trooper

I didn't get shore trooper when he came through the tournaments because I was too busy and didn't realize how awesome he was, I'm f2p but I have saved up a lot of crystals, should I blow it on the new pack, I have 30/50 shards for him. Would one pack be enough, or are the drop rates crummy.

Also would a three star toon even be viable in arena, I'm on a pretty competitive December shard.

The odds are probably low. It could happen though.

Usually what that means is "It'll happen for someone else, but never you".

Saw someone post a screenshot of it happening, so the one person has already received a double drop.

Two will do it for sure (10 per pack are assured).

Bank on 2 packs. I never get lucky with those types of things. I have a 4* ST and he's definitely viable.

Well, they gifted us with 10 ShoreT shards yesterday, which was enough for me to unlock him. I brought him up to gVII L52 and tried him in GW. He's still really soft at this level, but he did protect my Empire squad like I wanted him to before he was defeated. I'm thinking you'll need 4*.

4* is 'only' 3 packs above 3*. If you are willing to slow down your farming for a week its achievable

People were useing him in arena at 3* before the second tourney for him. I don't have him unlocked but from my understanding of him gear and mods matter alot more than him being 7*. Get him to 85 g10 full mods and im sure he will do whatever you need him to

Considering his primary purpose is to draw fire away from your other team members during that crucial first turn, it isn't really necessary to 7* him to achieve that. You will want him geared up as high as possible with good mods, though. The more protection and health he has, the better.
