Squad Arena tokens dilemma

I got Sid to 7* a few days ago, and since then have not spent any Arena shipments. I have been hesitant to use them on any of the other characters in there because frankly I don't think any of them are going to really impact my team.

What would you do?
- suck it up and just spend them on someone (probably Han, I guess)?
- just hold them in hopes of new characters in there soon
- keep farming Sid to trade in his shards in the new "Shard Shop"?

Nvm. Read some threads and it looks lots of ppl have this problem and no one has a good answer.
