So, now that this past tournament is over, I’m going to vent a little about how the groupings were set up.
I am on a late August arena shard and this was by far the most difficult tournament group I have ever been in. The lead in my tournament group had 41-g11 toons and many others were of that caliber. There is no way to compete with this for me. The point of your game is to make EA/CG money. In a tournament group like that, no one could buy success at my level. You are disenfranchising me from participating in tournaments by placing me in a grouping that difficult. Why should I try? I have been in harder groupings than my peers in the past but this one was ridiculous.
I bring this up not because I was given something hard. Parts of this game should be hard. I bring this up because there is now a 7* Jyn on my arena shard. This player is 3 levels lower than me and is still very beatable in the arena. How is it fair that they were on an easier tournament grouping? They have been playing as long as I have. Why don’t they have to face the same competition?
EA/CG, all I ask is for a fair game. People who start playing a game at the same time should compete against each other. If someone does well, why should they be forced to compete against people who have been playing this game for at least 8 months longer? What is the point? It is as if this other player has been given a character that I had no chance of achieving the same way (and no, I’m not talking about K-2SO right now. That is a completely different issue that I have with your game).

I've spent 50k AP in one tournament and got a 4* unlock - finished in 55th. In another, spent over 200k AP and finished outside the top 200. The tournaments were just over a week apart.
Tournaments are the biggest "black eye" of this game - and in it's history. Shard pairing is one of the major reasons - but the entire system of "tournaments" is deeply flawed in SWGOH.

I beat the REAL T7 Yoda (not the nerfed one) and did so before mods were there to help
