Post your "coincidences"

I am sure this observation has gone around, but really this has gotten silly.

Anyone see some of these "coincidences"?

My latest "coincidence" involves farming GSpy and his ship. When ships started, I could buy his shards from fleet shipments once or twice a day, as well as his ship shards being in both fleet shipments and GW shipments minimum once a day.
As I got closer to getting GSpy unlocked (which I did, his shards still show up at the same frequency in both shipment locations), his ship shards have vanished in the last few days. I've seen scimitar shards in fleet shipments more than GSpy shards. This dry well for shards also happened in the same fashion when I was pursuing umbaran star fighter shards when I needed a fourth light side ship to improve home one.
Could it be because I am close to getting it to 4* and improving Tarkin and unlocking more fleet challenges? Or is it just....

Yes, I know better than anybody the world doesn't revolve around me. I'll be sure to specify that next time, and that I didn't feel this was a conspiracy theory, or that EA is out to sabotage its player base, etc., etc.

Also I get RNG, but not when there is a pattern that becomes repetitive and predictable given a set of circumstances that are identical or near identical.

Yes, I have noticed it as well. It's always the same argument with rng related posts. Naysayers screaming confirmation bias/ conspiracy theory. We can't say for sure without crunching numbers in the change of appearance rates. There is certainly motive to slowing down appearance rates of ships you are farming; we anticipate unlocking or upgrading ships. I'm far more likely to buy a refresh in fleet shipments when I am at 46/50 that when I am at 20/50. Your impatience becomes money in EA's pocket. Just something to think about
