Ok clearly, I'm new to this thing, but what's the deal with Poe. It seems like every discussion is centered around him. What's so significant about him?

Poe is one of the fastest chars in the game. His special is a taunt which also has a chance to expose the enemy plus it steals some of their turn meter. Basically when he goes first his whole team gets to attack first.
