taking out enemy leader

i tried to search for this answer but couldnt find it - sorry if it's been asked a lot

if you take out an enemy leader in a match, does his leader ability no longer work for the enemy team? for example, if i take out Phasma, will the % chance of a 2nd attack no longer happen?

Nope, it still works until the end of the encounter.
