Will tournaments be back?

My ally points are heaping up. Want to know if I should spend them on bronziums. I enjoyed spending them on tournaments more than unlocking 1 bronzium pack at a time ad infinitum. But it seems pointless to collect them if tournaments will take a long time to return.

E: oh, and also for mod packs. It'd be good to know if the best way of farming mods will be available again.

They are most likely going to return once EA/CG has sorted out a way to handle the rampant cheating. I wouldn't count on them being back soon, though. It may take a while to implement an anti-cheating system, as I bet it will involve a check on the server side each battle. It's probably a good idea to keep a couple hundred AP stocked up anyway.

As for mod packs, that's a concern I have as well. Around 75% of my top mods have come from there.
