So, the Empire is getting some love now, but where is the third faction of Rogue One, Saw Gerrera's Partisans? There certainly is enough possible characters for a full team, Saw, Moroff, the Two tubes guys, throw in some generic soldiers and you get a team no problem. And, importantly, they should not get the rebel tag, since they are not part of the alliance. It could be even argued that they should be dark side, as they are not above torture or targeting civillians. So, do you thing we might get some dark Partisans along with the empire characters?

There are so many more interesting and beloved characters to make. Hard pass for me. Current factions need enough work that introducing a new one is unlikely.

Don't think that would be valid. They are still rebels as they started as one. Rebels themselves have done horrible stuff as alluded to in the movie. War makes people do things they would not normally agree to.
