What is AoE?

Noob question I know. But been looking around can't find my answer so I had to ask. I see it mentioned everywhere, and it seems to be important.

    Gee..if
    Only there was
    One search engine that could
    Get you
    Lots of answers
    Every time you needed it.

Someone should invent this. I think it would be successful.

You'd think. But if you Google AOE the first link is Wikipedia, which tells you:

AOE or AoE may refer to:
Acute otitis externa, an infection of the external ear canal
Age of Empires, a series of real-time strategy video games, or the first game of the series
Airport of entry, an airport that provides customs and immigration services
Alberta Order of Excellence, a high notary award given in Alberta, Canada
    American Orient Express
Anywhere on Earth, a calendar designation
AOE, a United States Navy hull classification symbol for a fast combat support ship
AOE, common leetspeak used in Hong Kong referring to the character Diu (Cantonese)
Area of effect, a term used in gaming to describe area attacks
Army of Excellence, the U.S. army force structure of the 1980s
ATA over Ethernet (AoE), lightweight storage area network protocol
Audio over Ethernet, the concept of using an Ethernet-based network to transmit digital audio in audio engineering
Axis of evil, a term used by former U.S. President George W. Bush in his State of the Union address on January 29, 2002
Transformers: Age of Extinction, a 2014 film
Alpha Omega Epsilon, a social and professional sorority for women in engineering and technical sciences
AOE, in greek, alpha, omega, epsilon, meaning: Of The Athenians

So you have to figure out that it's the *ninth* meaning. ;)
My ally code: 296-673-769. Wish we could have more than 35.
