Frustrated with the ships battles

Instead of being enjoyable, those battles are just frustrating and tiresome. Systematically I never get any of the procs (dodge, resist, apply a debuff, assist) while the AI gets extra lucky.
The advantage of the machine in this particular aspect of the game is too extreme to make the game enjoyable.
Some will say is RNG. Well, after playing for several months, I doubt it. I hope I got the same RNG.

It seems to me that AI gets better RNG in every aspect of the game. I try to minimize that by attacking toons/ships with less opportunity to to have that advantage.

I usually go after any ship that can put up a target lock right away to minimize the risk of getting target locked by that godly RNG

i just use the extremely annoying or difficult parts of the game as secondary options when i feel like doing them. ships is one of those areas.
