Try to build a Phase1 AAT raid team

My guild is trying to open heroic AAT raid somewhen so we are trying to build our teams.
My jedis aren't that strong for phase 1. I have only QGJ, lumi, ashoka, JC and IGD at 7*, yoda will be 7* next week and also have anakin at 5* and farming him. I could start farming Eeth Coth from arena.
But it's difficult and will take a long time to farm aayla or bariss.
If that helps my roster is this:

Could you give me some advise how i could build a phase1 team?

I have good scores (350k) and great fun with IGD lead, anakin, aayla, barriss and qgj.

All are level 85, g10/11 and have decent mods.

i have igd(g9),gj(g11),ahsoka(g10),lumi(g10), and yoda(g10) with non optimal mods. i can get 2-3% on P1 HAAT.

Just go IGD and your best Jedi (Aayla is really good though to slow down B2). Using Yoda's Tenacity up at the right time will be critical for you too.

Vaz - it takes a bit of RNG as well. I had all T7 T8 last heroic and using lame toons like JC and lumia, Asoka, QGJ, and phasm. Did 1.5%

Not posting for bragging but I did 23 retries til I got a result I liked. So make sure to back out of a battle if you lose that important toon or it's not going well for you in the battle.

Good way to get results but also time consuming no doubt. Also move mods as well helps in increasing damage

Phase 1 is th easiest phase for HAAT. It has very limited health when compared to the other three phases.

I recommend that your guild summons a HAAT knowing full well that you will probably fail. Have all members attack phase 1 with Jedi squads only. U might be able to already beat it. Getting 5% team for phase one is not that hard. I can do it with IGD lead, JKA, Aayla, QGJ no zeta, throw in basically any for fifth (currently I use Rey).

If you can't clear phase 1 with Jedi only, build up Jedi for one 1-2 weeks and try again. It won't take long to breeze through phase 1.

Phase 2 will put the breaks on your efforts. It has the most health of all phases.

In summary, I would recommend working on other tank squads besides Jedi. Your guild might not even need more Jedi for phase 1. My suggestion is to start building phase 2-3 squads.

    Best of luck.

I wouldn't farm Eeth, he's "OK", but he's not the anti-droid specialist he claims to be, although he can stun and hit decently. There are better jedi out there. I would keep farming JKA, he's a nasty dude and hits hard when geared up. Ahsoka and him have a decent synergy as well.

I would be in with IGD or Aayla as the leader for counters and assists if it were me.

Even though you don't have her - Barris is almost essential to help dispel.

Barris is not required. For lower geared Jedi squads, you get better results with IGD lead and some RNG in your favor. IGD, QGJ (don't need his Zeta...probably don't "waste" it as your first), Ahsoka (works best with JKA, but ok on her own) can all do well here. Yoda isn't bad, and Lumi is certainly a decent option as well. Get Yoda geared and modded, then move on to droids. EK isn't worth it. JKA and Aayla are nice, but you will probably benefit more from farming mods. JKA can be slow farmed through hard nodes though.

I would avoid running IGD as leader in phase 1. All the weak counters just get GG to tactical maneuvering instantly unless you have great luck applying buff immunity with JKA. That said, IGD is a key member of the team since he does decent damage and can apply defense down to GG. The best jedi runs have defense down on GG, aayla stun on b2, and offense up from either QGJ or JKA. Takes some RNG, but easy to get over 10% with that set up.

As a jedi specialist, using them in every game mode, I can safely say that Jedis aren't at their strongest in Phase 1 as people claim to be here on the forums. I consistently do more damage on Phases 3 and 4.
Granted, I use a IGD lead, so what Kdizzle described above is accurate. B2 causes too much trouble to my team (I use IGD (L), JKA, Ashoka, Barriss and Yoda), even if I keep targeting him first.
Tenacity up from Yoda makes a huge difference in any phase, but at least on Phases 3 and 4 the bonus sticks.
That's what I've found from my experience.

No team is really at their strongest is p1, Jedi are just the best composition to deal with GG.

I only run IGD lead if I'm also running Plo Koon to dispel on his basic attack during the counters, otherwise I usually run JKA lead with IGD, Yoda, QGJ, and Ahsoka. If I run the IGD lead I usually plug in Plo for Yoda or Ahsoka depending on the % that GG is at.

I usually score the same under IGD or JKA lead, but your argument of "no team is really at their strongest in p1" is accurate.

It's not that Jedi are best in p1, but that someone needs to hit the phase and Jedi do best after earmarking all the teams you'll need in later phases.

I'm not saying JKA lead is better, it just gives me a little more control than with RNG on the counter attacks, which is preferable so I can try and escape some of the Jedi I might want to use in another team rather than counter attacking and GG getting tac. maneuvering and enraging on me.
