Death Trooper Grenade - Buff vs + Status Effect?

I've noticed that the Death Trooper's 2nd attack (grenade) did not dispel Chewbacca's taunt in GW today.

His ability info: Deal Physical damage to all enemies and Dispel all buffs on them with a 70% chance to inflict Healing Immunity for 2 turns. Enemies who were not buffed have their cooldowns increased by 1.

Reference to what buffs are:

If the taunt is indeed a positive buff, which it seems that it is, we may need a fix here.

    Hiya!
Our team tested Death Trooper's "Death Trooper Grenade" on Chewbacca and the only situation where he wouldn't dispel Taunt is when the attack is Dodged which is as intended, because if the attack is Dodged by Chewbacca while he has Taunt active then the rest of the effects of the attack (Dispel, Healing Immunity and Cooldown increase) will not apply to the dodging target.

Would the same apply for B2 Super Battle Droid if the taunter was to dodge his dispel? (I have yet to see that).
