0-28 to start (6-64 updated) Looking for input please

Hey Dev's can we look into increasing the drop % (or normalize it across the board) on purple gear please. I literally have gone 0-28 this morning on MK 3 Czerka Stun Cuffs, I get that you need us to knee **** and spend $ but no one should ever have this happen and I'm not asking for there to be a guaranteed drop rate but this is seriously ridiculous.

  • This is what i do, it may help you.

    I don't farm Stun Cuffs. (normally)

    I will farm other needed gear and save my crystals until i get 1400 and the spend on it on a full Stun Cuff.

    After however many raids if i have about 30 Stun cuff salvage, then i may start to actually farm the remaining 20 or less.

    If the dev's ever change the drop rate then we'll all be ecstatic! But until then i personally think this is the best way to go.

    You can get them fast from fleet shipments, if you are willing to ignore zeta materials

    This is exactly what I do too.
  • I went 2-8 with refresh so 2-30. I just find that horribly unacceptable and looks like I'm going to go the save the crystals route for the harder to farm gear items.
  • Well.. With a guaranteed droprate, i have to farm 250 stuncuffs instead of 50.. I would do that.
  • The problem with saving all crystals is I run out of sim tickets. And when I buy stamina refreshes I have horrible drop rates. So now I just do the first 2 refreshes and it keeps me slowly gaining crystals and static on sim tickets

    I don't think I've ever gotten 7/8. I've gotten 0/10 plenty of times though
  • Not farming cuffs is a bad strategy: the 750 crystal G11 are better deals and you need them as much as guns at high gear level.

    Not to mention it's not just cuffs you need. You still need a ton of stun guns for pretty much every tank ever. The stun guns are alittle bit cheaper so it makes more sense to buy those rather than stun cuffs

    yea, I have never seen such a great % on any item sans going 1 for 1. If only we could be so lucky.

    I still think they need to increase the drop rates, again they don't need to be incredibly high but they need to go up some percentage points.

  • dude there is no benefit to be had by me lying about it. I was absolutely floored when it happened, drove to work then posted after I had calmed down a bit. It happened, it was absolute crap and I want the devs to consider raising the drop rates a little bit.

    0-3
    2-10
    0-2
    0-6
    2-7
    0-6

    so collectively 4-34 so with odds like that and knowing what I went before I still say were due for a small percentage increase on certain items.

    Firstly, just want to say I agree with the OP, the drop rate could go up a bit without ruining the game or the profit margins. Secondly I want to veer off topic a bit with this:

    As you can see, I didn't;t even consider the possibility that I would get 2/2 as I only needed 1 more. Can anyone raise me? 3/3 or more?

    I've tried farming cuffs with energy and I'm lucky to see a 10% drop rate.

    so @CG_Kozispoon @Capgasp @CG_CapGaSP @CG_TopHat @EA_Jesse Is this something we can have a discussion on? I also feel we can increase the drop rates a little bit without harming your profits but allowing us to actually farm items a bit more efficiently.

  • I don't think they reply because there is really no justification for such poor rates. It's a rigged game and we know it and still play it!

    I unlocked LS9B 3* and have gone 0 for 24 on shoretrooper shards so far. Yes they are in store daily at inflating prices.

    I react the only way I can. I stopped spending on the game months ago.

    It's a stalemate.

    Wow, that's horrible. I switched over to a gold piece for G11 Palp and the drop has been just as bad, no shocker (no pun intended). I suppose Ill vote with my wallet as well if it comes down to it.

  • They really don't need to change the drop rate, they'd need to decrease the variance but maybe the frustration is part of their model. To get people irked then pull out the wallet.
