Is the update today for the QoL for sure? Meaning I should wait to do my challenges and GW till this evening so I get the best rewards today?

They were updated for me yesterday. You can check to make sure they have for you by checking the possible rewards tab. They are displaying that each tier only adds additional gear types, rather than being a different selection.

In the long run, it will hardly make any difference. I did mine today because it's GW for guild activities.

Challenges were updated a couple of days ago its other updates that are not live yet

This! I always buffer my last day Gw with the day that its the guild activity quest to get those 20+ gains .

Even if the rewards get updated, it would just be one day so, no big deal OP.
