Announcing - TeamSkunk Republic Kashyyyk - New Heroic Guild Recruiting
Republic, A Team Skunk Community, is excited to announce the creation of its newest guild: Republic Kashyyyk. This is the first new guild created by Republic (a top leaderboard guild each month) and we are excited to have this be a home to teamwork oriented players of varying skill levels. We will have multiple very strong players in the guild and expect to be completing heroic tank raids within a matter of weeks. Heroic Pit Raids are already on a farm basis. This thread is intended to describe to prospective members of Republic Kashyyyk what we strive to provide members, both in Kashyyyk and the Republic at large.

What is Republic, A TeamSkunk Community?
The Republic is a collection of some of the most active, sociable, knowledgeable SWGOH gamers that together run 8 raiding teams under The Republic umbrella. The Republic was a member of TeamSkunk for a long time and operated independently of the overall TeamSkunk system, but many of our officers also worked hand in hand and were intrinsic in TeamSkunk’s success. Of our raid teams, we have several guilds with HAAT on farm, and another, Kamino, which is a home for our real life children. We are all about family, unity and working together to overcome any obstacle/new content the game can throw at us.
Almost all members are level 80+, and we're a mix of whales, dolphins, minnows, and FTP. Our members are primarily based in the US, though we have a substantial percentage of EU and asia based players. The Kashyyyk guild leaders, Ava and Nihilus, are in the eastern time zone.
What is expected of a member in Republic Kashyyyk?
There are four basic expectations. First, be respectful toward all guild members. Second, contribute 600 coins daily to help initiate raids. Third, join us on Discord for guild communications and more exposure to our top-end content creation team (seriously, there is terrific Republic Content). Look here (https://swgohindepth.com/) for our website, which includes a weekly podcast and youtube content, including collaborations and interviews with other top youtubers, such as SmithieD and Ahnald T101. Fourth, have an active role in the guild and help share your knowledge and Star Wars enthusiasm.

What is the most important thing to know about being in Republic Kashyyyk?
We believe that communication is important from both the guild leadership and the guild members. We've set up a Charter for all prospective members with additional guild information, which is available to view here:

Our goal with the charter is to help set expectations and reduce confusion/uncertainty. Thus, we have information on the Republic Community at large, Kashyyyk’s role in the community, raid times, daily ticket expectations, and more within our charter. We created a concise and user-friendly document as our mission, and as always, is to help others grow in a fun and welcoming environment. Also, we really like blowing up tanks and decapitating rancors. So check out the charter and let us know if you have questions or would like more information.
Is Kashyyyk looking for members? How do I join?
If you've read through our charter and are happy with what you see, please send me or Nihilus a PM here or on discord. As we expect to be HAAT ready soon given a few very strong members, we are not stressing minimum requirements to join. We think that for members to get the most out of their experience, they will need to be at least level 70 with around 10 characters at Gear 10 or higher. However, we value character and want to build a stable and long-lasting community of fellow SWGOH gamers. So let us know about yourself, provide your ally code/swgoh.gg profile, and that you're interested in joining this new opportunity. If there's room in the guild, we'll bring you aboard.
