Hello friends, a quick question here. Given the following characters , assuming ALL ARE MAXED IN TERMS OF LEVEL , SKILLS, GEARS and are fully 7* , which 5 will you pick for your Arena Team!

Sidious , Lumi, JC, IG88 , IG86 , DAKA, KYLO, Poe, Poggle.

I'm trying to get help from veterans who knows more about the game than me, so thank you in advance.

Currently, my Kylo + Poggle stands at 5* and Poe stands at 3* only. (Will start farming Poe tmrw since DAKA is 7* already )

I used this team for rank one for over a month. It really beats anything, even if their poe taunts first. Recently other "f2p" players on my server have copied my exact team, I'd say 4-5 use it now.

Droids are hit or miss on defense.

88 is beast, and planning for defense is pointless. Anyone in your general rank bracket is going to be able to beat you most of the time even with a "defense".

88 is very slow and has no hp. when poe is nerfed do you think he'll see a single turn? I'd say no.

If Poe gets nerfed the whole meta will change. He is the only thing propping up these zero healer, glass cannon teams.

Actually characters that can stand on their own with good speed and survivability, like Rey, will always be good. In a vacuum, characters like IG-88 will certainly not, and tbh, he's awful right now anyway.

Aoe teams rely on crit and crit multiplyer.

Phasma's leader skill is weak with characters like Poggle and Kylo on your team.

Phasma is designed to synergize with strong single target attackers and assist characters.

We'll just agree to disagree. Rey is certainly awesome, but much more difficult to farm. 88 is a great toon and hits like a truck. Also Rey wasn't one of his choices.

I never plan for defense. I rank top 10, so I know when someone sniping my spot wants to, they can beat me. There really is no defense in this game, and there never will be. If defense became too good, the forums would blow up.

I think Sid WAS incredible a few months back, when everybody was running Lumi+JC. Now his heal debuff isn't that useful, and his 0% Potence maje him more unreliable at 70 anyways. Phasma's turn meter control and AOE slow are vastly superior. Sid's leadership is good, but I don't think that's enough to beat Phasma unless your team has crit sinergy

It really depends on your team comp but I agree for the most part.

In addition to being necessary on aoe teams, Sid's speed and aoe reliably disables Rey, who is the strongest attacker by far. I don't use him for his healing immunity at all in arena anymore lol

Wow so much comments ! Haha I see... I personally love ig88 actually because when his AOE crits, it's a beast man.

However, I hope that Poe does not get a nerf because I had just made him to hear

Who knows. He's viable at 4*. Gear him to 143 speed if you haven't already and go to town. If he's nerfed you haven't lost too much.

My Poe is only 123(+9) currently , so is that 132 or just 123 alone? Haha im like 17 MK2 test tubes away from Gear 8

It's 132. The 123 is his base speed (which incorporates speed gained from earlier gear levels). The +9 is speed added by current gear. You will have to take him to gear 8 to get 143.

Alright I see, so you're suggesting that I can sub my Poe in once it's 4*?

Currently all of my characters mentioned above is maxed out and 7*/6* except Poggle/Kylo. Poggle is just gear 3 lol

Yup. My Poe is 4* and I finished 6th today on a mature shard (I'm spending my orange balls on QGJ). He's simply there to act as a meatshield and manipulate the turn meter to give your glass cannons time to wreck. Extra stars will make him more survivable; but in reality, by the time he's down you should already be in mop up mode.

Hmm I Guess I'll still use current team then

Sidious, Lumi, DAKA, IG 88, IG 86

I can only farm like 5 Poe shards a day

Sorry but may I ask smth, after IG88 gets to 7*, who should I go for in Arena shipment?
