Gear in Challenges/Drop rates

I currently need 800 mk3 carbanti just between 2 characters! TWO! And the fact that this gear in challenges has a possibility to have 7 drop when it seems rng is heavily weighed at 3-5, and farming it in the LS/DS battles is even worse. I don't think I've ever had the 7 drop. Please either fix the required amount of this gear for toons or improve the rates of drops. I would rather farm stun cuffs than 50 more mk3 carbanti salvage!
