    @NoRinGoSho this means your Game Center account is tied to the L2 account.

    What you'll need to do is one of two things

    1: Create a new Game Center account and then it'll sync your most current SWGOH account. All a Game Center account is is an Apple ID. The downside to this is you'd have to switch back and forth in order to bring back any other game data from other games.

    2: Or contact EA support and ask them to merge your latest account onto your old account. You'll need info from both accounts. Let them know it's important to keep the better of the two accounts, but you want it on your current Game Center login.

    It feels really good to know that it is now possible and I am considering to copy my account from iOS to Android. All I want to know is the detailed steps of migrating account and the risks of doing so.

    Hi, I just contacted EA and the customer representative said if your game is linked to FB you can play on both platforms without account migration.

    If your game is linked to Game Centre, it is not possible.

    I have contacted another representative and was told a different story about FB (saying not possible). But then she asked me if I want to transfer my account from iOS to Android. "Yes, of course!"

    Whether FB works or not is no longer my problem.
  • For those that did the account transfer through EA how long did it take? I sent the request on May 11th and I am still waiting for them to complete the transfer from iOS to Android.
  • Decided to try it for myself. my ticket got escalated to the " specialist team". now the (long?) wait for a reply from them! fingers crossed.

  • I've submitted a ticket to have my Ios account moved over since I'm in the process of switching back to android. I'll update here how it all goes.

    Just an update, so far I have had 1 rep tell me it is not possible to do this and the second rep asked me to submit the old and new ally codes. The new rep said the IOS account would remain playable but separate from the android account in case I ever wanted to go back to IOS. That was on Saturday and I have not heard anything back since then. Thus far my account has not been copied over to my android device. I'm going to send a follow up email tomorrow if nothing changes.
  • Just wanted to give an update. I had submitted my ticket on Thursday 5/18 around 1pm est. I finally got my account copied over to Android around 7pm est Wednesday 5/16. Now I have the same account on both devices. If I play on my old iPhone I am logged out of the account on the Android and vice-versa.

    Now I can finally retire my old iPhone.

    Got mine switched/linked over last night. Now I can play the same account on both Android and IOS. Go to the in game help from settings, then contact us, and it will take you to a page to submit a ticket. Fill out your information and send them it in. In my message I just explained that i was switching from Android to IOS, and that I didn't want to lose my account that I had spent money on. They replied back within 24 hours of my first message, making sure I understood what was going to happen. I replied that I agreed, and then about 3 or 4 days later (last night) I got another message saying that it was complete. Main thing is to make sure you have the player id and ally code for both accounts. The new account will need to be made prior to sending in the ticket.

    So my message looked like this......

    Customer support is seriously inconsistent when it comes to account transfer. I have heard many different things from other people like losing all your gear, credits and mods upon transfer and some of them will still tell you that it is not possible to transfer your account. This is why it would be better to be able to have the option in settings to transfer the account yourself.

    update. I am still waiting. EA says they'll email you within 24H. nothing yet. well over a week now.

    edit: juist had a nice chat again. turned out they escalated it to the wrong team, and that team just didn't bother sending it back down the food chain.. GRMBL. I've been told that on average it would take 3-4 days.

    I did it just in case, because thats what they asked for. I didnt want them to have an excuse to turn me away. I had everything ready at once.
  • My case is finally closed. I ended up having to call them to escalate the case but I got it all worked out. I now have the same account on both platforms and they do sync with each other. You just have to be sure to force close the game on both devices when switching between the two.
  • Can confirm. I just had my android account transferred to iOS. They told me its a one time per account kind of thing. It took an entire week to process though...

    I was on iOS and requested a move to Android. My transfer has now likewise come through. Took 7 days approx. Now syncs in both directions. Also worth pointing out that I don't actually own an Android device. Did that end of it entirely through an emulator. Nice to finally be able to run the thing on my PC. Well pleased.

  • WHat should I Do to require my account change from IOS to Android? It is really possible? Just received this answer today from EA Support:

If you switch the account from iOS to android, you need to start the game again from beginning.
