If you are wondering why there is no Jar Jar, that is because I understand why George put him in there. Like with the rest of the prequels, poor execution of a noble thought.

I "understand" why Lucas created Jar Jar, just like Ewoks, C3P0, and talking battle droids. Doesn't mean I like them or think they add anything of substance to justify their inclusion.
1. Ezra - first season or 2 of Rebels. Playful banter with Zeb, and Chopper made me feel like I was watching a Saturday morning cartoon instead of Star Wars, and he was just annoying.
2. Teenage Anakin - That whining! His arrogance, and self-centeredness mixed in didn't help either. The romance with Padme was nauseating. So terribly written.
3. Jar Jar Binks - The slapstick humor and clumsiness always turning out in his favor in the end was pretty irritating. Not a good character for this universe in my opinion.
