  I can't quite remember where I saw this, but I believe a dev hinted that there will be easier ways to farm what we need during the event. Could be double drops, shard shop, or added to shipments. And my God, we need additions to shipments. But again, I'm not quoting.

  This ^^. not a direct quote, but there was a mention that there will be means to make them easier to farm...hopefully we will find out soon.
