Is StormTrooper Han zeta any good?

Anyone has him zeta'd? Any feedback on that zeta would be appreciated.
Any link to gameplay?

  • In one word: No.

    Unless your Arena top is full of Sabine of course. :wink:
  • Nope.. his prot recovery not good considering he have low base protection. If he have protection huge as Baze, maybe i'll zeta him. :frowning:

    You could gear him that way though, but who needs a StHan with low speed and potency anyway ?

    This zeta is just some uninspired work, some stacking additional defense, an increased tenacity or a cleanse mechanics would have been way better. No one should invest a full month zeta farm on such things, they're incredibly rare and shouldn't have such a ridiculous impact.

    My st han has ~37k protection. This means he'll heal 1850 protection every time he takes damage.
    For argument sake lets say he potentially has 50k protection (if that's even possible) he'd still only recover 2.5k protection every time he takes damage.
    So no, i don't think it's worth it.

  • They could do his taunt reappliable or irrestable, but this...
  • Ok thanks for the input folks :)

    Indeed.. Sthan is unique tank. I've modded him with speed n potency. But, if the zeta is something like: give all allies 20% tm when sthan attacked (taunt or no taunt). Sure i will zeta him at first place, then put him under Rex lead. But this.. recover 5% protection, are u kidding me.. that's zeta abilities? :lol:

    There are so many other zetas that take priority over this one.

    @leef But if he had DoTs on him, would he regain 5% x number of DoTs?

    @ddlooping2
    i believe so, yes. But keep in mind that DoT's do 5% of max health dmg at the same time. So you're only healing the difference between 5% of max health and 5% of max protection.
    with 50k protection and 20k health that's only 1.5k per DoT each turn st han takes. (with my 37k protection i'll recover 850 protection for each DoT per turn)

    @leef Are you sure?
    5% of 37k is 1.85k
    If you have 5 DoTs (pretty rare I admit) you'd get 5 x 1.85k = 9.25k (which, as if by magic) = 25% of 37k. :)
    Still nothing to shout about though. :D

    P.S: I do understand that DoTs will grant you protection but will also remove health. :blush:

    Maybe under zeta Jyn lead with Chirrut in the group...but as others have said, he still has low base protection compared to newer tanks.
