  • Yeah its time for the weekly update.
Come on guys, you can do it!

Long enough to where you'll be unhappy but not short enough that you won't have time to get ready.
  • Would love to see something on the cls event returning.....and in under 3to6 months more like 1to2 weeks.....?

Trust me I will be ready seeing both old Ben and Leia are under 80 shards to 7* that's not the problem its credit shortage
  • Ssj3goku - you really need to move on to something else in the game and forget about Luke for a while.

I did this before realising that new Han and Leia are on their way.

You did that to get Commander Luke Skywalker, who you'll more than likely need for Jedi Luke. You got toons to use in TB and with Leia you have a rework who hits like a truck.

FYI, I have an ungeared 5* Thrawn and no GK, I make do in PVP. If I were able to actually play before my payout I might put more effort to it. I'm on an old shard (Jan 2016) and I just can't understand why you struggle in yours.

And what if he shows back up like next week......then ?

  • For everyone whining about unlocking characters, you really should step back and notice there is a PATTERN to unlocking these tier events.
    - When Yoda came out, you needed Jedi to unlock him which makes sense because it follows the Star Wars universe and storyline (he was a Jedi Master who trained Jedi).
    - When Palpatine came out you needed Rebels to unlock him. Again, makes sense, the Rebellion defeated him.
    - When Thrawn came out you needed Phoenix. Again, follows the story because they were his opponent.
    - When R2 came out, you fought him with Empire characters. Shocking, but still followed the story as the Empire has been constantly looking for "that droid".
    - Now when Commander Luke comes out you need (gasp) the original characters from the first trilogy to unlock him!!!
Fascinating! So all we have to do, then, is predict what Legendary character they will release 4 months from now and farm the appropriate team? DO TELL.

How did anyone know that you needed the original chars....to unlock commander Luke Skywalker.....they gave general hints and everyone was thinking ewoks droids......and other it was only when then event was announced and the rework on old Ben stormtroupper Han...princess LLeia....was part of it.....it was not told to us instill said event and. A slap in the face he only unlocks at 7*

See the pattern yet? You didn't use Separatists to unlock Thrawn, or Jawas to unlock Palpatine. When new characters are announced they tend to follow the story. So while you never know for sure, you can likely guess who may or may not be needed. Territory Battles are on Hoth, and we have had the Hoth Scout and Hoth Soldier as characters for nearly two years. You think they'll matter? Most likely. And when they finally do introduce C3PO, I suspect his unlocking will have something to do with either Anakin (who literally built him) or the Ewoks (who considered him a God in the movies). Quit the complaining already, you can figure this stuff out. This is how F2P guys like myself have unlocked these toons. Plan your shard farming accordingly and you'll still get the chance to partake in these events.

That's not much of a pattern, some of them are farm the enemy some of them are farm the ally, why didn't we need the classic rebels for R2? And just include chewie, shouldn't it be empire for Luke then? Or Vader and EP since that was his opponent

In fairness, the escape from Tatooine would have been better represented with a space battle between the Millennium Falcon (which isn't in the game yet) versus several TIE fighters.

Stormtrooper Han played a very large role in freeing Leia and the escape from the Death Star--larger than Raid Han, anyway.

This really is a great app game. I love how the game keeps evolving. As for replaying the legendary events again that got us Yoda, Palpatine, R2D2, Thrawn and now Commander Luke Skywalker maybe not. Instead of replaying the same event again how about a mission unique to the toon that was unlocked. Say for example the Master Yoda event, instead of replaying his event again you play a unique mission event like Master Yoda fighting Darth Sidious. Of course this event is only available once you unlock Master Yoda to 7*. Also the rewards for these unique missions maybe should be double or triple depending on the tier you reach. For Emperor Palpatine his mission would be to battle Master Mace Windu, R2D2 could battle B2 battle droid, Thrawn could battle Phoenix Squadron and for Commander Luke Skywalker well his battle should be against SPOILER ALERT his father Darth Vader. That would be my solution for replayable events for legendary toons.

Fail on both parts. 1) Falcon is in the game. 2) This event had nothing to do with freeing Leia. It said retrace our hero's steps from Tatooine to his escape from the death star. How do we know there wasn't going to be a level similar to ben/vader where raid Han has to kill Greedo b4 they can even leave? Cause Han is a raid toon? No other legendary event characters were used for the event right....oh wait.

Ok, so some are enemies but some may be allies. You can still eliminate the Separatists, Ewoks, Jawas, and several other toons completely unrelated to the new character. My point was there is a general pattern to unlocking these special characters and most units needed to unlock them follow the Star Wars story itself. I suspect that the reason they don't use the same characters each time to unlock them is they want you farming or needing to buy as many other characters as possible. So another thing to consider in all this is you likely won't repeat units to unlock new characters. And while there is always the chance you could need enemies instead of allies, I'll at least know that if the character is ROTJ Chewie, I'll probably need Han Solo more than I'll need Asajj Ventress. So I can adjust my shard farming to give me the best chance to be ready.

You know what else is funny Luke would have never even gotten off of Tattoine without RAID HAN. We are all so dumb for not knowing who would be needed! Familiar faces lol.

    1) Look again. That's Force Awakens Falcon. If they used it for this event--well, first off no one would completeit because you can only get it from Megapacks, but more importantly--you would need Rey and Finn to unlock Luke and that's thematically dumb.

    2) The event was focused on telling Luke's journey, with a special emphasis on the escape from the Death Star after rescuing Leia. That part heavily featured Stormtrooper Han. It heavily featured Stormtrooper Luke, too, and he would be a cool new Luke, but folks would be angry and rise in revolt if they did.
    Ceterum censeo Patientia esse meliat.

For everyone whining about unlocking characters, you really should step back and notice there is a PATTERN to unlocking these tier events.

    1) I'm aware who is piloting it. It is still the falcon.
    2) It was never said the emphasis was being placed on the time after Leia rescue.

You are twisting facts to fit a narrative.

State of the Galaxy: We're really proud of ourselves and you should be proud of us as well

Perfect interpretation! They should be proud! If a legendary event gegenerates extra 10mil revenue for the apk team, id also be proud that Im retiring @ 40...
