R2-D2 or BB-8

Hello all, who do you think would fit better on this team: zFinn, Poe, Resistance Trooper, Resistance Pilot.

BB-8 increases potency and damage output via abilities, but the latter is not that quick. R2-D2 has passive pot increase via number crunch zeta.

BB8 definitely, it inflicts expose, and illuminated destiny goes off quick enough
BB-8
Basic: Tenacity down
Secret Intel: 25% Potency up + Reduce cooldown of Illuminated Destiny
Illuminated Destiny: Expose + Resistance Protection up + Many buffs

R2-D2
Basic: 80% stun
Smoke Screen: Foresight + Stealth + Advantage
Improvise: Burning
Number Crunch: 10% of R2-D2's Health, Protection, Potency, Offenss to all affiliated allies

For Resistance team, and especially for HAAT, BB-8 hands down.

I am working on the team of Finn, Poe, Trooper, and both droids. So far so good.

Remove pilot and put in both droids.

I think R2 is better for Arena (without new rey) and replace Res Pilot with Scavenger Rey.

But Haat P2 I think Finn, Poe, Trooper, Pilot, and BB-8

I still like running rey in the tank raid though.

OK. I managed to 6* BB-8 and plan to use them in AAT. HAAT is too much at the moment.

Why not just use both and get rid of resistance pilot ?

If you insist on using the pilot though, BB8 would be better.

R2 has no expose, Pilot does.

The old hard GW needed R2 as fast CLS teams would get a turn in when Bb8 rolled back and forth. Other than that, there is not one time/mode that I have used r2 with Resistance since I got 7* bb8 the first time he came around.

To summarize, BB8 is the best resistance support toon in the game.

I just started running BB8 with my resistance team with R2. I found that the speed boost let R2 go before Poe. This is super helpful against Chaze Teams. R2 stealths everyone and then there are no counters.

In raids, use BB8 instead of R2 with pilot for max damage.
