Veers and Snowtrooper needed in one of the combat missions, with Veers automatically locked into leader position.

Platoons not asking for either of those characters, just all the other Imperial Troopers who benefit from a Veers lead. Asking for them with a vengeance. Many required.

Doesn't seem right.

And still an excessive amount of current pay-only characters. (At least one in every single platoon)

It seem they are sticking to the letter of what they said but it does seem a little unfair.

There are enough imperial troopers to make it work if each one is donated by one member.

Well, "doesn't seem right" as in both the matter of fair/unfair and the matter of WAI/unWAI.

Just curious whether this was deliberate, or did somebody make a boo-boo because they didn't consider the implication of requiring a Veers lead in a combat mission (he needs Imperial Troopers).

How in the world can we fill those platoons if they arent even farmable??

Plus, it was suppose that premium toons that were added to shipments lower their price after around 3 months...
It is going to be almost a year and toons like nihilus, krennic, shore, etc, still at premium price on shipments...
