  You should definitely be able to do it, especially now that Vader is a lot faster. A fast tfp and tarkins offense down helped me alot. It may take a few tries because of bad rng but you'll get there. Good luck!

  What gear tier should I have my empire for the r2 event? Anyone know. They're all 8 right now 7* 85

  Depends on what characters you are using, if you have zetaed anyone and how good your mods are.
  
  I've seen threads with people moaning that their tarkin tfp magmatrooper Snow trooper gear saxon gear x team couldn't clear it.
  
  There's also a video somewhere of a gear viii thrawn and Palpatine and gear vii death trooper krennic shoretrooper clearing it.
