Darth Sion under Triumvirate Leaderships

Has anyone else noticed that Darth Sion has pieces of his kit that don't look like they will work well under a Darth Nihilus and Darth Traya lead?

Sion has a lot of self healing within his kit along with Crit Chance, Held by Hatred give 100% health and 25% CC and he also has the potentional to regain a huge amount of protection with his Break Will ability if used on a target with Pain. But under Darth Nihilus those healing effects and boost in CC go out the window. Now I do know Sion hits hard, and that 60% Offense would boost Sion up even more, so that 150% health steal would be significant but still the Leadership doesn't seem to fit as well as expected.

With Darth Traya on the other hand the problem revolves around Darth Sions unique, Held by Hatred's cooldown is reduced when Nihilus or Traya are critically hit, that's great, but Darth Traya gives 40% critical avoidance, which is nice but does make it significantly harder for Sion's unique to proc. Admittedly the 40% Potency is a boost to his ability to inflict Pain so maybe that is the balance.

What do y'all think on this? Do the different benefits of the two leaderships outweigh what is given up by Darth Sion?

  • I think hardly anyone runs nihilus in the leadership position anyway and it's going to be a toss up between EP and traya leads

It's a balancing act. There are a lot of contradiction in their kit. Look at Traya. Her basic deals every debuff on all allies and inflicts it on the enemy, but her unique cleanses Sith allies at the start of their turn. So, she won't inflict that many debuffs after all.
When you look at the synergy between the Triumvirate members, you see it's not really synergy at all. Each of them gains power for himself when the other two are hurt.
Which is fine. Nihilus had a spot on the meta since the day he arrived. Sion is already becoming a part. Traya looks incredible. But none of them break the game. Because those are the mechanics that keep the game balanced, even with them in it.
  • SIth turn on each other and kill each other. Together they can wipe out their enemies, but at a cost to other sith. DN leads are only in the 3-800 range in Arena. The health steal isn't fast enough to cover health lost.
  • It's the way of the Sith. Power to themselves first.

Usually what you gain is better than what you lose.

Like yeah held by hatred's cd didn't get reduced. But also you're guy didn't take extra damage.

now with like DN's lead it's not worth it end game... it happens
even under his lead, bonus offense, crazy lifesteal, and bigger bonus if target has pain... you get a decent bit back. Maybe more than 35% protection if

and while when you proc held by hatred you may not get health back, but you rez at full health, which is health and the protection you would of had that you won't get under Traya/EP. May be worth something
