Bb8 near impossible for 7stars
Bb8 is practically impossible to obtain in 5 to 7 stars now, I feel like you need to put over hundreds of dollars just to get the legendary characters

Just to make you feel better, Viagra Han and Old Yeller never see the light of day in this game other than allowing you to obtain JTR.
Otherwise, you don't have to spend money to get the vets, but it does require dedicated farming.

I beat it first try. It isn't that hard. I have kru lead, kylo, foo, fotp, and phasma. I had fotp at g11 and foo at g10 but the rest at g8. It can be done with less with moving mods but I plan on using fo in tw so the extra gear isn't wasted. I also had no zetas on the team. I had one i reserve but it wasn't needed. I have spent $0 on the game so your premise is false. If you want help describe the team you are using and you ay get some constructive advice but whinning about it being impossible is not constructive and a waste of everyone's time.

This. I think of ALL of the events, BB8 is now the easiest useful legendary (GMY is probably the easier, but why bother since CG basically Order 66'd the Jedi in this game).
The EP/Vader rework turned R2 into a cakewalk as well. CLS and Rey have their challenging moments if you're under geared. Thrawn is still IMHO the hardest, and I don't think it's really all that close.

The mods on my Phasma and FOTP are laughable. I simply had to actually pay attention and stun in the right order and boom, done.

The mods are not even that great either and I did it on the second try. I went after bb8 first and once he was gone the rest dropped easily.
Foo and fost both gear 7, gear 11 fotp and zylo pulled through in the end.
Seeing people complain about spending hundreds of dollars is the only way, when you 7* & pay $0....priceless.
This team did it. I did have good set of speed mods on FOO.
Nice. I have 7 star jtr, cls, thrawn, sion, and getting close on gk and haven't spent a cent on the game. But whinners will be whinners.
These games are all about the long run. If you try to panic farm and acquire everything, you're right. You will be spending a lot of money for things. There is a better way to do it. These events are cyclic, and you know what the requirements will be. If you spend the time to get the gear, the mods, and the shards, everything is attainable. Sure, that means you won't be gearing up or getting the shards for everyone. If you plan carefully, and farm the nodes you know you need to farm, and if you track everything, you will get what you want, when you want, and you will be able to get all of the legendary toons. It took me 3 months of hard farming to get First Order and the Vets. It ****. Now it is over and I can save crystals while I go after my other goals. I'm currently working on Nightsisters and Ewoks.
If you go for instant gratification, your life will be sad and all your money will go to CG. If you go for the long haul your life will be mildly frustrated, but you will also be entertained and happy.
I never put a dime into fo to unlock bb8 just keep trying gear them to 9 use the best mods ya got and over and over auto eventually you will get it, now I got kru with zeta that alone the developers added a ton of help to free to play players that you should not complain before that bb and the fo mod challenge were both extremely more difficult but obtainable
