I’ve received a lot of differing opinions on whether to use a speed or protection arrow. What is the community’s opinion? Also if I do go speed, which of these is better? I’ll post the protection arrow to.
Is the fact that they’re all speed sets a coincidence or are you running a speed set on him?
I’m running a speed set on him. I’m a fairly newish player (last week of November 2017) so I haven’t really had resources to farm defense mods or anything really outside of the big ones like speed and Crit Damage.
Someone in my shard is running him wit a critical avoidance arrow on a speed set and his has 109 speed. The other set on him is defense and the secondaries are protectin when it’s possible. Thoughest I had to face.
I like option A. Under traya lead a fast trooper is good in order to shed the debuffs of shock and buff immunity so he may get that taunt up. Trooper has around my 5th best speed mods. Priority - Nest, Sion, Traya, DN, Trooper

I like option A too, but I wish I knew how much that defense and tenacity in option B actually made a difference. It’s just like a guessing game if it really makes an impact or not.
My speeds on my arena team are:
Nest +135
Sion +113
Nihilus +112
Traya +115
Sith Trooper +99 (with speed arrow)
Someone just wanted to share their god mods lol
Lol no it was just to show the difference in speeds. If I go with a protection mod sith trooper will only be +69. He’s at 194 with speed arrow and +99. At +69 he’d be 164....slow as molasses compared to the rest of the team.
Speed is not needed on sith trooper at all, it should be only a second thought, so defense/crit aboidance arrow is best and prot is next after them, your mod sets should be health or defense specially with the mod update coming out
Crit avoidance seems like a waste if you're running him under Traya lead as it's really difficult to crit him as is and crits aren't a big part of the current meta teams. Are you trying to defend against other Traya leads or zEP leads?

Mostly Bastila
Protection with a defense set then. There's nothing more depressing than watching Ezra bang against Sith Trooper for 4000 damage knowing how many times you have to hit him to remove his protection. Yes, Bastila teams generally have two dispels, but Trooper's taunt is passive, based on specials and damage from his Sith allies, so speed on Trooper doesn't help you. In fact, I think you want him with zero speed so the jedi get caught behind him if they don't use their dispels wisely.

The good news is if those are god mods, I’m the gods god lol
