Ideeas on how to find somebody not respecting raid times?

Example : day 1 : 20h00 HSITH raid starts, all 1-3 phases are done one after another.

We stop at phase 3.

Day2 : phase 4 starts at 20h00 next day .

Problem: Somebody attacked p4 with a whole NS team(we have no problem with them finishing p3 and chaining a bit into p4) but here they did 20%.

And we can't find out whom, because nobody stands out in the score.

How do you suggest we find who did this? The game still gives no help for such things even all things considered, they like to push legendaries but the game still doesn't have core quality of life for guilds and guild masters .

hope they do it again next time and look at scores once p3 is done?
  • No good ingame mechanic for it as far as I know. Take screenshots of the score table next run and compare it with the standings after they attack early again and you will see who it is.
  • Yep, this means officers have to literally take screenshots of every score so they can be sure to track who does it. But, you also can't tell the whole guild what you're doing. You have to be a bit covert about it and just track it the next time.

It could've just been a mistake and a one time thing. But, for the next 4 or 5 raids do the **** thing and check the status before the P4 time starts.
  • And why would that person be prohibited to attack??
We attack what we can until we have no teams left, and then the big wait until they next refresh starts. If anyone else has teams left, they can attack, no??

@Moorebid there is no refresh for the Heroic level of the Raid. For guilds that can blow through the entire Raid in an hour or so, we have to put limits in place to allow members that aren’t online at Raid start time to at least pop in and post a zero.
  • @newbornFL have you tried asking? Most players will admit when they’ve screwed up, and will take their 0 for the next Raid.

How about simply asking in guild chat? Unless you are si strickt tgat you punish or kick at the first offense, the guilty player wouldn't have any problem coming forth.

Ya Is there something I’m missing about higher power guilds ? Why wouldn’t you just use the 24hr start time.
  • I don't see what the problem is. Your guild finishes the raid and you get the rewards. Start the raid at different times if you want different people to attack.
  • It sounds like you need to launch the raid with a join time to get a zero. For example, you reset at 7:30 PM, launch it to attack the next night at whatever time your guild voted for. Trying to control a stop so people can score a zero sponge started is going to be tough.
Or launch it with the timer so everyone auto joins and attacks once it is unlocked. A zero is better than nothing. We regularly clear it with 15 players in about 90 minutes. Everyone else gets a zero random roll.

I'm sure glad I found a reasonable guild early on...
The CGDF is no more. Now we hate CG because of conquest. Say hi in our Discord! https://discord.gg/AmStGTH

Bad news is you’re forced to have awkward stop times during raids that CG mandates upon every guild, really is rather stupid of them.... o wait....

glad u clarified that thought another dum guild rule to prevent teams from doing to much damage lol

  • Probably the dumbest "rule" I ever saw, rework that rule and it'll be ok

The rule has it's benefits for guilds in a specific situation (the raid not being cleared in a matter of hours), but it's hard to monitor who's breaking the rules. Assuming you're in a guild in that specific situation, it's still only temporary.
It's up to the guild's leader/officers if they want to put alot of effort in monitoring dmg, just accept people will break te rules or just change the rule alltogether.
Personally i would just change the rule since you're eventually going to anyway and the benefits don't really outweight the effort and certainly the frustration that comes along with enforcing the rule.

Don't put in weird hold times and then it an issue?

    This.

You guys must be very advanced level.

We can't finish p3 untill 23h30 so p4 starts very late ,many players are asleep. Contrary to belief, many of our players are people with lives, and jobs.

Many people don't want to stay in the bottom of the leaderboards so we do this to allow **everyone** to attack.

P1-P2-P3 takes around 4-5 hours **intentionately** so everyone can attack.

Otherwise we can just finish the raid in 45 mins.

We are like a family and we look for each other, don't know in what guilds you guys are but it doesn't sound fun at all.

Everyone can train and master the raid phases. Train for p4 ,change mods and see damage difference,we have lots of guys that do this but they do it so they can get better.

Your guilds seem to be very selfish in many ways. We are not like that.

This being said ,there are always a few black sheep.

What a stupid rule... Why the heck would you do that to all the guild members?
Just set the 24hr join timer and let everyone FFA once the raid opens.

Another vote for this..... Your current rules are needlessly complicated....

You say your guild is like a family, would you plan a family meal that involved only eating 3/4 of a meal and putting the rest in the fridge for the next day?.... weird
  • @BubbaFett Add: Because someone was at work and was coming home to eat 6-8 hours later. "Everyone stop eating now and wait to finish until they're home"
