Can a brand new member join after the TW join opens, and post bogus teams during setup to throw points to their guild?

The answer to the idea of your post is a 100% NO.

A player can join and participate if they join during the sign up phase of TW.

A player can join but not participate in TW if they join after the join period has expired.

Since you dont know who you are matched with until after the join period for TW has expired, NO someone from the guild you are facing cannot join your guild and have any affect on your TW.

So guilds reporting otherwise are just mistaken?

Or actually they can just join/post bogus squads to mess up your TW in general. Not in any guilds favor?

Guilds claiming the opposing guild has a member join and place junk teams are gravely mistaken about how it works.

The phrase.. "Get a Life" springs to mind. Okay if a player has an axe to grind, I can see their logic. Sorta. But to be that devoid of purpose in life.. Sad.. I mean MEGA sad.

    I prefer this exchange.

    Wyatt: What does he need?
    Doc: Revenge
    Wyatt: For what?
    Doc: Being Born..
