Is Traya a counter to GG?????

I think so, two tanks will be the key. Keep DN alive long enough to anihilate GG.
  • Just started talking to some people in discord. Not as sure IPD is going to work after talk. Metalloid Monstrosity (Unique) says they take 8% damage of his max health. I do not think this means it will by pass droid protection to damage health

At the start of Grievous' turn, all other Droid allies take damage equal to 8% of his Max Health, doubled for Light Side Droids and he gains 5% Max Health and Potency for each other Droid ally for the rest of the encounter. This damage cannot defeat characters. That last sentence should tell you if it kills b1 or not.........

B1 isn't technically defeated when taking damage, it just loses stacks of Droid Batallion.

So at the start of each turn, he kills 8 stacks of b1?

Yep! Kind of a risky little unique ability!

The ability states that it cannot defeat characters, so it shouldn’t kill 8 stacks of B1

Went back and watched gameplay video again. Greivous isn't removing any stacks when he takes a turn.
  • you might be right on that acutally. Now i have no idea

Being defeated isn't what removes the stacks. Taking damage is. As written it seems like it should both remove the stacks (because it is causing damage) and defeat B1 when it drops it to 0 stacks (because the damage isn't defeating him, the lack of stacks is).

Check it again. It definitely is. Removing stacks isn’t defeating it. It’s not defeated until it hits zero stacks so theroretically the damage should never remove the last stack

That depends. The damage triggers stack removal, and B1 dies from not having any stacks, not the damage itself. That would be a bit of a nonbo, though, so hopefully it's as you say.

That makes sense. I stand corrected.

At 2:48 in the video b1 is at 98 stacks. Greivous uses his skittering horror abilty and b1 is still at 98 stacks after.

Yes an if you notice 3 seconds earlier it starts on 106 stacks then drops to 98 when GG begins his turn. The damage hits at the start not when he uses an ability

And just before that he's at 106, Droideka goes, then it's GG's turn and B1 drops to 98. Then it proceeds as you describe.

You're right. I missed where it dropped.

Yep. Finally watched the video. Even at 1:12 B1 never loses any stacks at any point of GG’s turn

At 1.10 it loses the stacks. Then GG takes a turn. The damage 100% burns stacks.

    @AhnaldT101 great video as always!

One question is the footage you show of Grievous a maxed gear 6* modded one? With focus on health primaries?

ANSWERED ON YOUTUBE: didn't record footage, doesn't know

  • It's weird....why would they put text about "Greivous deals damage based on his max health" on every single attack skill, instead of once in his Unique?
  • One thing to note is that GG's max health before mods at the start of Gear 12 is 19157. If health mods work like speed mods, it only modifies this number as it is the last completed gear level. Most of his health comes from the 2 Medpaks and 2 mk12 Furnaces at G12. Each health set will give him 1915 health so if you have another set with really good flat health secondaries that might be better. I just a test with my Tarkin and it appears that health mods do work off the last gear level.

@AhnaldT101 do you see L3-37 being a viable substitute for, say B1, to mitigate the risk of Grievous's unique?
  • Does the lead zeta grant 4% to droid separatists and 8% to GG or 2% and 4% respectively?

For more than 1 reason. If you have her zeta, they die, grievous gets his bonus turn and such, and L3 brings the droid back to life.
  • L3 balances health when a droid is reduced to 1% health. Its not a revive. They never die.
  • That’s nice she did that for you though. She ignores the rest of the community.
  • Congrats dude! 3 years of waiting..hmm that's how long it took me to get my Clone Helmets lol
#CloneHelmets4Life...VICTORY!!!! "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere." The more you tighten your grip, CG/EA, the more whales will slip through your fingers (and go F2P or quit).
  • You know, im happy greavous isnt terrible... but general kenobi took him down alone....

We getting a GK rework to compete soon?

Alone? The 212th was there supporting him.

I think it is because of some events where you have an event ability, or maybe some leaders will give allies bonus capacities in the future
